Organic Hair Care

When using organic labels please ensure that your hair care products carries organic certificates issued by legitimate bodies. Some manufacturers of hair care products claim their products contain organic contents when actually it can be mixed with organic compounds and chemicals like silicon or polymers. Be sure of what you buy because cosmetics can cause damage when your hair or skin type is not suited to it.

More On Hair Care

Always use cold or lukewarm water when washing hair as hot water destroys the hair roots. Hair styling products should be used minimally and only when there is a necessity. Many young teens use hair irons often and this causes hair to split and break. Also use combs with wide teeth to untangle the hair and do not comb hair when it is wet. If you have hair is poor condition, you might want to think about using a hair growth vitamin treatment.

Black Hair care needs a mild shampoo with a moisturizing effect since it is course, brittle and often dry. Oily hair should be washed every day and dry hair once twice a week.

Basic Hair Care

Some basic hair care when done from the comfort of your home with natural products could go a long way in saving your hair from the harmful chemicals of the so called cosmetic revolution. We cannot do without shampoos or soaps but we can keep the side effects to the minimum by choosing a milder or organically prepared shampoo. Rinse the hair well with plenty of water to ensure that all shampoo has been washed off and also use a conditioner which suits your hair type.

Avoid using hot air when using a blow dryer. It is advisable to use a towel and pat dry your hair after hair wash, but if time does not permit set the dryer mode to cool and use it.. Hot air damages the hair roots and even scalds the scalp. In fact many hair care websites say that this is one single cause that can bring about hair loss.

Hair Care Guidelines

To take good care of the hair requires judicious maintenance because your hair is delicate and easily breaks when not handled with care. It is not enough just trying out the different hair care products that you see in the advertisements, but you must develop healthy diet and sleep habits along with regular exercising. This is a fast paced world now and we are racing against time. Stress does have its toll on our physical health and the hair is no exception. We see many more young men and women facing hair loss and balding problems now days.

The markets are competing with each other and often we see multi national giants coming out with new hair care products. We have Unilever with their innumerable varieties of soaps and shampoos, and Philips with their range of hair dryers and curlers and Procter and Gamble with their range of shampoos and conditioners. Millions are spent on advertisements to lure the consumers. Do they really have that magic that their TV advertisements so claim? How many products do we need to try and switch before we decide what is best for our hair?
